What's Happening the week of 1/8/06
FINANCIAL FREEDOM
Join us for a four part series beginning today! Most financial advisors will encourage you to take the long view with your money decisions, but the Bible encourages a longer, more eternal view that most advisors never consider. During this series we will examine several money myths in the light of scriptural wisdom and focus on biblical keys to money management.
Sign up today to be a part of the next New Connections class, which will begin in two weeks, Sunday, January 22, from 2:30 to 4:00 PM. We will spend a total of 8 weeks learning about Harvest Point’s mission, vision, and values. It is also a great opportunity to make new friends and to discover how you can “get connected” at Harvest Point. If you are interested in participating, complete the response card in today’s bulletin and place it in the offering plate.

We have 11 sets to create for next year’s Live Nativity...so let’s start with great support right from the beginning!!
In January we are collecting baskets of all shapes and sizes, especially old, large and odd shapes. These will be used in building the “basket shop” set. Place at base of cross in the sanctuary.
Men are needed to construct this set. Please call John Fields at (770) 957-1009 for details. You will need your own tools.
Ladies are needed at the church on Sundays, 1/22 and 1/29, to help iron fabric, cut out patterns, and begin sewing. You do not need to be an experienced sewer. We are counting on those with experience to assist others.
For more information, call Ginger Buttrill @ 404 432-3444.
