concert pianist david nevue at harvest point this week!

Harvest Point is hosting a free evening with David Nevue — an accomplished concert pianist. Make plans to enjoy an evening of music, coffee and refreshments here at Harvest Point on Friday night, 7:00pm, September 9th. We’ve made this concert free to the public so that our entire Harvest Point family can invite friends to come and enjoy the music while listening in on his story of life transformation through Christ. new connections beginning October 2!

Do you want to know more about Harvest Point’s mission, vision and values? Maybe you would like to unite with our church as a member in ministry. New Connections is an eight week course so you can learn more about HP and meet new friends. Fill out the perforated connect card in your bulletin and drop it in the offering. Beginning October 2, from 2:30pm-4pm.

dallas holm in concert

Dallas Holm will be in concert at Harvest Point on Friday, October 21st at 7pm. The concert will be free to the public. Make plans now to be here and invite a seeking friend or family to join you! A luncheon will be held following our worship service on September 18th to fund the concert. Please make plans to stay for lunch.

opportunities to study the Bible

- Disciple Bible Study is an in-depth 34 week study that is beginning soon. In a journey from Genesis through Revelation, participants are strengthened in their faith and guided into service and ministry. If you have questions, desire info, or wish to sign up for the course, simply contact Don or Pam Coffey 678.860.2807.

Disciple study needs 2 TVs and 2 VCRs. If you are able to loan or donate, please contact church office or Don/Pam Coffey.

- Adventurous Prayer is a ladies Bible study held on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:00am at our church. Childcare is provided, please rsvp. For more info, please contact Susan Holly at 770.957.4334.

fall LIFE groups beginning

You’ll hear about the LIFE Group opportunities that are coming to your area this morning during worship. LIFE Groups are beginning the new “First and 10” curriculum on September 18th. Drop by the table located in our lobby, locate your group and pick up a book ($7). Throughout the fall we will be studying together, reading daily devotionals, and following God’s pattern for living in community. fall series beginning September 18th

There were some things that were so important to God that he wrote them in stone for his people. Join us beginning September 18th for a deeper journey into the Ten Commandments. Invite a friend to join you as we learn together about God’s design for our lives. We’ll learn the and have a little football thrown in!

food pantry opportunity

Our Outreach Ministry volunteers at “Helping In His Name” food pantry on Hwy 155 every Tuesday evening from 6-8pm. Our item for the month of September is canned goods — so please remember to bring canned goods each week during the month in support of the Food Pantry. They are in desperate need and if every family brought one can we could aid them to feed many people. If you or your small group can volunteer to help on Tuesday nights, please contact Kathy Stokes at 770-507-0405.
