What's Happening the week of 10/15/06

- Elders Meeting 10/15/06 @ 12:00 - Leadership Meeting 10/15/06 @ 1:00

- New Adult Bible study begins today.  “Lord, Teach Me To Pray” led by Dee Ann Harmon from 6:00pm – 7:30 PM at church tonight (same time as youth confirmation class).  All adults are welcome.  Childcare is provided.

- Confirmation class 10/15/06 @ 6 PM.

- "Return To Bethlehem" auditions for full speaking roles 10/15/06 @ 1 PM in the Children’s area.

- Rehearsals for RTB every Sunday beginning October 22 @ 1 PM.

- Prayer room open Monday through Friday from 9 to 12 and before/after worship services. 

- Prayer Team meeting in prayer room from 8:30am to 9:15am on Sundays to lift up worship service and needs of the church body.  If you are interested in being a part of the Prayer Team, contact Susan Holly @ 770.957.4334.

- "A Friend’s House" Children’s Shelter needs volunteers to sort winter clothing on Saturday, October 21st.  Contact Kay McCullough @ 404.392.0456.

- "Helping In His Name" Food Pantry desperately needs baby food.  Please bring to HP and we'll get it to pantry.

- Youth Luncheon (Gecko Grille of McDonough) – following worship on Sunday, October 22nd.  Proceeds will be used to send our kids to winter camp.

- Young Adult Bible study coming soon.  If you are interested, see Frances Bates.

- Chick-Fil-A Fundraiser beginning October 18th.  Every third Wednesday of the month we will receive 15% of all receipts turned in under Harvest Point’s name between 3 PM and closing.  Proceeds will be divided between youth and drama ministries.

- We are looking for individuals who are willing to make a brief visit to 1st time guests of Harvest Point.  If you enjoy meeting new people and are looking for a place to serve, call BJ in church office @ 770.914.0304.

- New "New Connections" class beginning Sunday, October 29th from 1:00pm – 2:30pm.  See insert in today’s bulletin.
